We’ll be serving an All-American meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli with butter, salad and dessert for $18.
This young man, Wells Remy Crowther, was known for often having a red bandana in his pocket – including on Sept. 11, 2001, when he saved at least 10 people by guiding them down a staircase in the south tower of the World Trade Center. Crowther, a 24-year-old equities trader and volunteer firefighter, never made it home. His courageous story has been turned into a book and movie.
